Yes! Free trial classes are available for most classes. Book a trial through our schedule or contact us to find the best fit. Trials help us confirm placement and goals before you commit.
Dancers should wear form-fitting dancewear that allows full range of motion and supports proper alignment. Please avoid loose layers that block visibility of movement. Hair must be secured away from the face so dancers can focus fully without distraction.
Wear appropriate footwear for each style (e.g., ballet slippers for Ballet, contemporary shoes or Apollas for Contemporary, and jazz shoes for Jazz). Don't forget to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated during class.
Any class-specific requirements will be noted in the Studio-Pro Portal.
Scheduling & Attendance
Keep dancers home if they're unwell. Let us know as early as you can; we'll guide you to a make-up option. Extended travel? Email us as some Labs can offer temporary alternatives.
Separate attendance requirements apply to our Competition Ensemble. Additional information on these requirements will be provided should your dancer join.
We'll notify families by email and post updates on the site/social channels. If we cancel, we will schedule a make-up or provide a credit where a make-up isn't feasible.
Competition & Performance
Competitive dance at 925 means practicing, training, and competing in dance competitions throughout the year. Dancers of all levels are encouraged to participate—using the experience of competition to grow as dancers and deepen their enjoyment of dance.
Dancers can join the competition team in two ways: (1) by invitation from a teacher, based on their experience with the student in class, or (2) through tryouts, which take place in May and early August. Competition team members are required to take multiple technique and conditioning classes. Please get in touch if you would like to compete with us!
Team dancers commit to weekly company rehearsal and required technique Labs during the season so choreography can progress safely and consistently.
